A 2 m braided stanchion rope for crowd control and queue barriers - 30 mm thick with 32 mm clips at each end. Pick the rope colour and the end colour to suit the posts you already have.

This is the rope our premium rope barrier stanchions ship with. Buy extra to carry a run further, to branch a queue, or to keep a spare set in a second colour for events.

Questions & Answers

Q: How long a gap does one rope cover?
A: The rope is 2 m end to end and hangs in a curve, so set the posts a little closer than 2 m and let it drape. One rope spans the gap between two posts - a run of four posts needs three ropes.

Q: Will it fit my posts?
A: It clips onto any hook or ring that takes a 32 mm clip, and it is what our premium rope barrier stanchions ship with. Our 1.5 m ropes use a 28 mm clip instead, so check the ring if you are topping up an older set.

Q: Black or red, silver or gold ends - which?
A: Pick the end colour to match the posts and the rope colour to suit the room. Black reads as neutral and hides marks; red reads as an event or a red carpet.

Q: Is it braided or velvet?
A: Braided. In our experience braided rope holds its shape and its look better over time, so it is what we keep on the shelf. If a room calls for velvet, get in touch and we will sort something out.
