Description

This is the polished chrome wall hook. Ropes are sold separately - see our 1.5 m ropes and 2 m ropes.

A wall hook for a stanchion rope. Screw it to the wall and the rope clips straight onto the ring, so a run can finish against a wall instead of against another post. That saves the floor space a bollard would take, and it keeps the line tidy where a queue meets a corner or a doorway.

The backplate is 5 x 5 cm with two countersunk holes, and two screws come with it. The ring stands proud of the plate so a clip goes on and off one-handed.

It takes both of our ropes - the 28 mm clip on the 1.5 m and the 32 mm clip on the 2 m. The finish is polished chrome, to match the posts and the clip ends.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is it for?
A: Ending a rope run at a wall. Screw it to the wall, clip the rope on, and you do not need a post standing in that spot. Useful where a queue finishes against a wall, or where a doorway has to be roped off and there is no floor space for a bollard.

Q: Which of your ropes fit it?
A: All of them. The ring takes the 28 mm clip on our 1.5 m ropes and the 32 mm clip on our 2 m ropes.

Q: Do the screws come with it?
A: Yes - two screws per hook. Wall plugs are not included, because what you need depends on whether you are going into timber, plasterboard or masonry.

Q: Why is the minimum four?
A: They are small and they ship free, so we sell them in packs of four. Most jobs use them in pairs anyway - one at each end of a run.

Q: Does it come with a rope?
A: No. The hook is the wall fitting on its own.
