Black 32 mm heavy duty snap frames
A snap frame is a wall-mounted aluminium poster frame with a profile that clicks open and shut - also called a snap lock frame, clip frame or poster holder. This range uses a 32 mm profile in matt black, instead of the 25 mm profile on our standard range.
To change a poster, lift the four sides open from the front, slide out the anti-glare PVC cover, swap the poster and press the sides closed again. The frame stays on the wall the whole time.
Why choose 32 mm over 25 mm?
- Stiffer frame: the wider profile resists bowing, which matters most at A1 and A0
- Stronger grip: a deeper snap rail holds the poster and cover more firmly
- Same posters, same visible area: a standard A-size print drops straight in, with about 10 mm hidden behind the rail - the same as the 25 mm range
- Slightly larger footprint: the frame sits about 14 mm wider and taller on the wall than the 25 mm version
If the frame is going in a quiet office or the poster rarely changes, the standard 25 mm black range does the same job for less.

The 32 mm range also comes in silver. In the slimmer 25 mm profile we stock black, silver, silver with round corners, gold and wood-look.

Price breaks are shown on each product page: the A2 and A1 frames drop in price from 10 units, and A0 from 5 units. The minimum order is 2 frames. For a quantity that isn't listed, contact us for a quote.
All frames are stocked in Melbourne and ship free* to every address our checkout can deliver to. A0 frames are too large for Australia Post, so we send them by courier.
*For some regional and remote postcodes, checkout can't calculate a delivery cost. If that happens, contact us and we'll send you a courier quote before you pay. There's no obligation to go ahead.
32 mm snap frame FAQ
Do I need to trim my poster?
No. Each frame takes a standard A-size poster as it is. The profile covers about 10 mm on each edge, so keep text and logos inside the visible area listed in the size table.
Is the visible area smaller than on a 25 mm frame?
No. The poster sits behind the same 10 mm overlap, so you see exactly the same amount of artwork. The 32 mm frame is bigger on the outside, not smaller on the inside.
How do I mount it on the wall?
Open the four sides, screw the frame to the wall, then close the sides. The screws are included and sit hidden inside the profile once the frame is closed. At this weight we recommend screws rather than double-sided tape.
Can I use these frames outdoors?
No. These frames are for indoor use only. They are not waterproof and cannot be locked.
Can the frame hang portrait and landscape?
Yes. The same frame can be mounted either way, so you can choose once you know your poster's orientation.
Can I replace a scratched cover?
Yes. We sell replacement anti-glare PVC covers for every size from A4 to A0.
How is the A0 frame delivered?
The A0 frame is larger than the maximum parcel size Australia Post accepts, so we send it by courier. A small number of remote areas are not covered by courier services. This rarely happens, but if we cannot find a courier to deliver to your address, we reserve the right to cancel the order and will refund you in full.
