32 mm heavy duty snap frames, A4 to A0, in matt black and matt silver. The profile is 7 mm wider than our standard 25 mm range, which makes the frame stiffer - it holds a large poster flat and stands up to a corridor or entrance where frames get knocked. All four sides snap open from the front, and the poster and visible area are exactly the same as the 25 mm frame.

When the 32 mm frame is worth it
A snap frame is a wall-mounted aluminium poster frame with a profile that clicks open and shut - also called a clip frame, snap lock frame or poster holder. The number is the width of that profile. Our standard range is 25 mm; this one is 32 mm.
The wider profile does three things: it resists bowing, so an A1 or A0 poster sits flat instead of rippling; it grips harder, so the poster and cover stay put; and it survives being knocked in a corridor, lift lobby or shop entrance. For a quiet office wall with an A4 notice, the 25 mm frame does the same job for less money. The bigger the poster and the busier the spot, the more the extra width earns its keep.

Every frame takes a standard A-size poster with no trimming. The profile covers about 10 mm on each edge - the same as the 25 mm range, so you see exactly as much of the artwork. The frame itself sits about 14 mm wider and taller on the wall.

Everything is stocked in our Melbourne warehouse and ships free* to every address our checkout can deliver to. A0 frames are too large for Australia Post, so we send them by courier.
*For some regional and remote postcodes, checkout can't calculate a delivery cost. If that happens, contact us and we'll send you a courier quote before you pay. There's no obligation to go ahead.
32 mm snap frame FAQ
Is the visible area smaller than on a 25 mm frame?
No. The poster sits behind the same 10 mm overlap, so you see exactly the same amount of artwork. The 32 mm frame is bigger on the outside, not smaller on the inside.
Do I need to trim my poster?
No. A standard A4, A3, A2, A1 or A0 print drops straight in. Keep text and logos about 10 mm clear of the edge when you design the artwork.
How do I mount it on the wall?
Open the four sides, screw the frame to the wall, then close the sides. The screws are included and sit hidden inside the profile. At this weight we recommend screws rather than double-sided tape.
Can these frames be used outdoors?
No. The heavy duty range is for indoor use. It is not sealed against water, and we do not stock an outdoor or weatherproof model.
Can the frame hang portrait and landscape?
Yes. The same frame can be mounted either way, so you can choose once you know your poster's orientation.
Can I replace a scratched cover?
Yes. Replacement anti-glare PVC covers are sold separately in A4 to A0.
How are A0 frames delivered?
A0 frames are larger than the maximum parcel size Australia Post accepts, so we send them by courier. A small number of remote areas are not covered by courier services. This rarely happens, but if we cannot find a courier to deliver to your address, we reserve the right to cancel the order and will refund you in full.
