Replacement Weighted Base for Queue Barrier Post - 5kg Cement Filled

A spare base for our standard queue barrier posts. If a base has been dropped, dented or lost its rubber ring, replace the base rather than the whole post.

It is a metal shell filled with cement - 5 kg of it - with a rubber ring around the underside so the post stands steady on a hard floor without sliding or marking it. The pole bolts on through the centre.

Q: Which posts does it fit?
A: Our standard range - the classic rope posts and the standard retractable belt posts both use this base. The heavy-duty range uses a heavier base of its own and will not take this one.

Q: Is this an extra weight or the whole base?
A: The whole base. The pole bolts on through the centre, so you are replacing the part the post stands on, not adding weight to an existing one.

Q: Why would I replace a base rather than the post?
A: The pole is usually fine - it is the base that gets dropped, dented or loses its rubber ring. A base costs a fraction of a complete post.

Q: Will it mark a polished floor?
A: There is a rubber ring around the underside, so the base sits on rubber rather than on bare metal.
