Custom Retractable Belt Queue Barrier - Clear PVC Fillable Post

A retractable belt queue barrier with a clear PVC post you fill yourself. The tube is transparent top to bottom, so whatever goes inside becomes the display: building blocks in a toy shop, your own product, coloured sand, pebbles, shells, foam shapes, themed props for a seasonal window. The barrier still does the job a barrier does — it just stops being a black pole in the corner of the room.

Why the price here is only a guide

Every one of these is built for your order, so there is no single price that covers all of them. What moves it:

• Quantity. The posts are made in a run, and the per-post cost comes down as the run gets bigger. Two is the minimum; a dozen prices very differently from two.
• Belt and finish. Belt colour, and whether you want anything printed on the belt as well, are confirmed with you before production and they change the price.
• Turnaround. On a standard lead time they come by sea, which is the cheapest way to do it. If your date is close we bring them in by air and assemble them here before they go out — much faster, and air freight costs more per post.

So treat the figure on this page as a starting point, not a sell price. Your quote is the real number, and we confirm it with you along with the belt colour, the fill you have in mind and the lead time before anything is built.

Questions & Answers

Q: Is the price on this page what I will pay?
A: No. It is a reference figure so the listing can sit on the site and you can see roughly where these land. Your real price comes back in a quote and it moves with the quantity, the belt and the turnaround. Ask us first.

Q: What can I fill it with?
A: Anything dry that will pour or stack: building blocks, your own product, coloured sand, pebbles, shells, beads, foam shapes, artificial foliage, seasonal props. Nothing wet and nothing that will rot, and keep the weight sensible — the post is clear PVC and is not intended to carry a heavy fill.

Q: Does the weight of the fill hold it down?
A: The base does that. The post has a weighted base the same as the rest of the belt range, so it stands on its own whether the tube is full or empty. Treat the fill as the display, not the ballast.

Q: Can I change the fill later?
A: Tell us when you ask and we will set it up that way. If you want to swap it with the seasons, say so up front — it is the difference between a sealed cap and one that comes off.

Q: Can I have my logo on the belt as well?
A: Yes. That is the printed belt version, and the two can be combined — a clear filled post with a printed strap. Mention it when you ask and it goes into the same quote.

Q: How wide is the belt?
A: 48 mm, the same strap as the rest of our belt barriers. The 63 mm figure you may see on the dimension drawing is the width of the post and belt head, not the strap.

Q: Why a minimum of 2?
A: A belt barrier needs something to clip to. One post on its own has nowhere to send the belt, so the smallest useful order is a pair, and that is also the smallest sensible production run.

Q: Can I replace the belt later?
A: Yes — the cassette unscrews, and we stock plain replacements in black and red.

Q: Can I put a sign on top?
A: Ask us when you quote. The stock sign holders are made for our premium post — A4 and A3 — and whether they suit a clear post depends on how you want the top finished, so we will confirm it rather than guess.

Q: Can it go outside?
A: It is made for indoor use. Clear PVC in full sun all day is not where you want it, and the fill will fade long before the post does.

Q: How long does it take?
A: It is built for your order, so there is a production run and then freight. The lead time comes back with your quote. If you are working to a fixed date, say so when you ask and we will tell you straight away whether sea freight makes it or whether it has to fly.
