Premium Silver Rope Bollard Barrier with Double-Sided A4 Sign Holder

A rope barrier does a different job from a belt post. A belt moves a queue; a rope sets a tone - the red carpet, the gallery opening, the hotel lobby, the VIP door. This one also carries a sign.

It is our heavy-duty silver rope barrier post with a double-sided A4 holder on top, so the line and the message arrive together - "Please wait here", opening hours, a table number, a wayfinding arrow. Both sides show, so it reads from either direction.

The post stands 99 cm, and with the holder on top the whole thing is 130.5 cm - the sign sits at head height, where people actually read it rather than look over it.

The base is a 33 cm cone: a steel shell filled with cement, wrapped in a moulded plastic skin that stays quiet on a hard floor and will not mark a polished one. Complete with the holder it weighs 10 kg. It goes together in about a minute.

The four-way rope ring stays under the top, so this post drops into a rope run without breaking the line - it takes up to four ropes like any other post in the range.

Q: Can I use it in a rope run?
A: Yes. The four-way rope ring is still there under the top, so it takes ropes exactly like any other post in the range - put it at the head of the queue and the sign faces the people waiting.

Q: What size poster does it take?
A: The visible area is A4 (210 x 297 mm). The frame itself is a little larger, so a standard A4 sheet drops in and the edges sit behind the frame rather than floating in the middle.

Q: How does the poster go in?
A: From the top. Slide it down into the holder, and slide it out again to change it. Both sides show at once, so print two different messages if you want.

Q: Can I buy the post and add the holder later?
A: Yes - the A4 holder is sold separately and drops onto any post in this range. Buying them together here saves you $10 against buying the two on their own.

Q: Can it go outside?
A: It is made for indoor use. You can take it outside when the weather suits and it will do the job, but it is not designed to live outdoors permanently - bring it back in when you are finished.

Q: Will it mark a polished floor?
A: The base is wrapped in a moulded plastic skin, so the post sits on plastic rather than on bare metal. It is the same base we use under our heavy-duty retractable belt posts.

Q: Does it need assembling?
A: It goes together in about a minute. Nothing tricky.
