Description
A single sided A-board for the footpath, 100 cm tall, with one A1 snap frame on the front and open legs behind it. It is the version for a doorway, a wall, a corner - anywhere people only ever approach the sign from one direction, and a second face would be printing nobody reads.
The face is a 32 mm aluminium snap frame: all four edges flip open from the front, the poster goes in behind a clear PVC sheet, and the edges press shut again. A few seconds, no tools, and the sign stays where it is.
It takes an ordinary paper poster at A1, 594 x 841 mm. That is what a snap frame is for - soft stock, straight from the copy shop, nothing to mount on a board first.
The backing board behind the poster is corflute, not metal. It is lighter, it does not dent when the sign gets knocked or dropped, and it keeps the weight low rather than up in the panel - which is what you want in something standing on a footpath.
It arrives assembled - unfold the legs, drop the poster in, done - and folds flat again for storage or the back of a car. The whole thing is 5 kg.
The frame is aluminium, so it does not rust. Like any A-frame it is a sign you put out for trading and bring back in afterwards - a sheltered footpath or a covered entrance is its place, not the open weather in a storm.

Questions & Answers
Q: What is behind the sign?
A: Open legs and a cross stay - there is no second frame. That is the difference between this and the double sided version.
Q: What kind of poster does it take?
A: An ordinary paper poster at A1, 594 x 841 mm. Nothing needs mounting on a board first.
Q: How do I change the poster?
A: Press the four edges of the frame open from the front, lift out the clear PVC sheet, put the new poster in and press the edges shut. No tools.
Q: Does it arrive assembled?
A: Yes. Unfold the legs and it is ready. It folds flat again when you want it out of the way.
Q: Can the angle be adjusted?
A: No. The legs open to a fixed spread, the same as any A-frame.
Q: Can it stay outside?
A: Put it out while you are open and bring it in afterwards. The aluminium does not rust, but it is not built to stand in a storm - a sheltered footpath or a covered entrance suits it.
If the sign needs a printed rigid board instead of paper, the steel sandwich board takes 600 x 900 mm corflute panels. For a sign that stays out through the weather, see the pavement sign on a water-filled base. The rest are in A-frame signs and pavement boards.
