A snap frame on a telescopic pole, for a poster that has to stand where there is no wall - a foyer, a shop floor, a restaurant entrance, a hotel corridor.
The frame opens on all four sides. Spring the four edges open, lay the poster on, snap them shut. The frame stays on the stand and the stand stays where it is.
The frame sits on a ball joint at the top of the pole, held by a thumbscrew. Loosen it and the frame turns a full circle, tips forward or back, and goes from portrait to landscape. Tighten it again where you want it.
Tip: if the thumbscrew will not hold the angle by hand, nip it up with a pair of pliers.
The pole telescopes from 70 to 120 cm with a twist collar - loosen it, slide the pole to the height you want, tighten it again.
The base is a 25 cm round cover over a plate, with a plastic bottle inside it. Fill the bottle with water or sand to hold the stand down - filled with water the base weighs about 2 kg. A rubber strip goes around the rim of the base; fit it before you use the stand and it will not mark the floor.

Q: Does one frame take all three sizes?
A: No. Each frame is made for one size - pick A4, A3 or A2 to match your poster.
Q: How do I change the poster?
A: Spring the four edges of the frame open, lay the new poster on the board and snap them shut again. The frame does not come off the stand.
Q: Can I turn it from portrait to landscape?
A: Yes. The frame is on a ball joint - loosen the thumbscrew, turn it, tighten it again. It also turns a full circle and tilts forward or back.
Q: The thumbscrew will not hold the angle. What do I do?
