A2 Gold Adhesive Window Poster Holder - Magnetic Front, Single-Sided

A2 gold adhesive window poster holder for 420 x 594 mm posters. The flexible frame sticks to the inside of the glass and the clear front sheet is held on by magnets, so changing the poster means lifting the sheet, swapping the paper and letting it snap back. Nothing is drilled and nothing stands on the floor.

At A2 the whole back is adhesive rather than a strip around the edge. A poster this size needs the extra bond to stay up, which is why it is single-sided: the back is covered by the adhesive, so the poster is read from one side.

Questions & Answers

Q: How does it hold the poster?
A: The flexible frame sticks to the inside of the glass and the clear front sheet is held on by magnets. Lift the sheet, slide the poster in, let it drop back. The frame stays on the glass.

Q: Why is A2 single-sided?
A: The smaller sizes hold with a strip of adhesive around the edge, which leaves the back clear so the poster can be read from both sides. An A2 sheet is heavy enough that a strip is not reliable, so the whole back is bonded to the glass and the poster is read from one side.

Q: What surfaces will it stick to?
A: Glass, mirror, tile, laminate and painted plasterboard - anything smooth, clean and dry. It will not grip render, brick or a textured wall.

Q: Can I peel it off and move it?
A: Plan the position first. The adhesive is meant to go on once - peeling it off to reposition weakens it, and at this size the full-back adhesive will not re-bond reliably.

Q: Portrait or landscape?
A: Either. Decide which way round before you stick it on, because the adhesive is not meant to be repositioned once it has bonded.

Q: Can I use it outdoors?
A: It is made for indoor use, stuck to the inside of the glass. Outside, or in a window that gets hours of hard sun, the sheet yellows and the adhesive gives up sooner.
