A silver snap frame is a wall-mounted aluminium poster frame with a profile that clicks open and shut. You may also know it as a snap lock frame, clip frame, click frame or poster holder. Our silver frames use a 25 mm square-corner profile in matt silver, the most common snap frame finish, which blends into almost any shop, office or reception wall.

To change a poster, lift the four sides of the profile open from the front, slide out the anti-glare PVC cover, swap the poster and press the sides closed again. The frame stays on the wall the whole time.

These frames are made for indoor use only. They are not waterproof and cannot be locked.

Which size do you need?

Each frame takes a standard A-size poster with no trimming. The profile covers about 10 mm on every edge, so keep important text and logos inside the visible area.

Silver or another finish?

Bulk orders and delivery

Many customers order silver snap frames in bulk for shop fit-outs, franchise roll-outs and offices. Price breaks start at 10 frames (5 frames for A0) and are shown on each product page. The minimum order is 2 frames.

All frames are stocked in Melbourne and ship free* to every address our checkout can deliver to. A0 frames are too large for Australia Post, so we send them by courier.

Do I need to trim my poster?

No. Each frame takes a standard A-size poster as it is. The profile covers about 10 mm on each edge, so keep text and logos inside the visible area listed in the size table.

How do I mount a snap frame on the wall?

Open the four sides, screw the frame to the wall, then close the sides. The screws are included and sit hidden inside the profile once the frame is closed. A4, A3 and A2 frames can also be fixed with double-sided tape. We don't sell tape, but most hardware stores stock it. For A1 and A0 we recommend screws rather than tape.

Can I use these frames outdoors?

No. These frames are for indoor use only. They are not waterproof and cannot be locked.

Can the frame hang portrait and landscape?

Yes. The same frame can be mounted either way, so you can choose once you know your poster's orientation.

Can I stand a snap frame on the floor?

Yes. A4, A3 and A2 frames fit our adjustable floor stand.

Can I replace a scratched cover?

Yes. We sell replacement anti-glare PVC covers for every size from A4 to A0.

Is there a sturdier frame in A0?

Yes. The A0 silver 32 mm heavy duty snap frame uses a wider, thicker aluminium profile, so the frame stays rigid at this size. It is worth the extra cost for large posters that are changed often or hang in a busy area.

Is there a discount for bulk orders?
